ARC Raiders Matriarch 3 Star Trial Fast Step-byStep Boss Fighting Guides

 You can have a lot of fun with the arc raiders trading. Just skip Deadlines. Jump on the boss and use Torrents to melt its core.

 Is it secure? Not really. Does it look elegant? It is not elegant.

 You can top the damage chart in most games without touching Deadlines if you follow the instructions.

 1. Loadout: The Actual Needs to Make it Work

 The basic idea of strategy is straightforward:

 Break armor and then beam a Torrent at the exposed core to turn your magazines into Trial points.

 For your loadout to be consistent, it must include buy arc raiders coins:

 1. Sustained medium-ammo damage;

 2. Ability to reach out and reconnect to your boss.

 How much ammunition do you actually need?

 Here are some numbers that matter. I've run:

 I've had multiple instances where I just ran out bullets despite still having core HP.

 I am much more consistent with the 900-1100-medium ammo.

 I can stay on my boss or reengage multiple times.

 I'm usually able to get a high Trial Score even if the first shot isn’t perfect.

 This is my solo run:

 I spent around 900 Torrents on the core.

 The equivalent of 8,000 trial points.

 You can get away with a 3-star rating if you manage the rest of your fight in a decent way.

 If you see that you are frequently leaving the fights with your core still intact but without ammo that is your signal to either increase your ammo or accept you'll need to rotate more shotgun/core damages instead of relying nearly exclusively on Torrent.

 \ 2. Pre-Fight – When To Spawn and How To Read the Lobby

 What surprised me most about Matriarchal attempts?

 Early spawning can be a bad thing.

 2.1 Early Spawn vs. Late Spawn: Which is better?

 You might think, spawn early boss, rush, profit. But in practice you will find that:

 Early spawn pro:

 First, you can try to reach the matriarch.

 The initial armor phase, as well the position of the first shield can be controlled.

 Early spawning cons

 It is more difficult to read a lobby:

 Are you going to get people to work together with your boss?

 Or do they simply want to kill, hunt, or ignore the players entirely?

 You could accidentally be the only person to commit to the boss.

 The Matriarch Cheese Run where I got everything right?

 The consistency of my spawn was not as I expected.

 Matriarch Trials: I sometimes like a later spawn to be able to:

 Watch for anyone who is clearly hurrying the boss.

 The lobbyists' aggressiveness will be evident.

 Consider whether you are willing to take on a lengthy, high-risk boss climb.

 If you're always falling off the top of the boss or while climbing with third parties, you may want to slow down from the beginning.

 \ 3. Step one: Breaking the top armor first (and letting go later)

 The first phase is not all about getting the highest possible Trial score, but rather about setting your damage window.

 3.1 Why top-quality armor is first

 My typical method:

 1. Reach out to the Matriarch as early as possible;

 2. As a priority, you should focus on breaking the topmost armor.

 3. Do not treat this as an DPS race, but rather a set-up phase.

 Why this matters

 After the top armour is removed, there's no need to be on her back forever to get value.

 The armor will still protect you if it is damaged.

 You can always re-engage if the conditions improve.

 If you are stubbornly trying to go from zero HP to full in one step:

 You run the risk of running out ammo in the core.

 You are punishing yourself if you give the players and addeds more time.

 You will often die with 600 - 700 ammo that is spent, and a half-dead leader.

 In one run, I stayed in the lead for a very, very long time. I used a huge amount of ammunition, but still, I found myself in an unfortunate situation, because I committed early and long. It worked in theory but not in actual survival terms.

 3.2 If Falling off Is Okay

 When the top armor is removed:

 If you are unable to reposition yourself or fall off during chaos, this is what will happen:

 don't panic.

 This stage does not require perfect uptime, it only requires that you return at the right time.

 The next section will explain the importance of timing.

 \ 4. Step 2: Wait for the smoke, then start cooking the center

 The Matriarch turns into a training doll at a particular moment.

 This is the moment she starts to visibly smoke.

 4.1 Why Late jumping works better

 Here's a pattern I kept seeing.

 When the Matriarch is enraged with another person, she:

 Stands still more;

 Movements less erratic;

 The focus is on removing you.

 When she becomes angry, she:

 Moves less predictably

 The attempt to throw you, shove off, or push them away.

 It forces you to continually adjust, which increases the chance of falling.

 It is important to know where the sweetspot is.

 1. Let the other players deal some aggro and chips damage.

 2. Wait until you see her smoking (in the mid-to-low HP range);

 3. Then jump/hook onto her, and begin to cook the core.

 How Damage is felt in the Damage phase

 I ran my fastest run in one of the smoothest runs that I have ever done:

 I jumped over her as she was already smoking

 I got myself situated on the top edge, slightly.

 Started beaming out the exposed core using Torrent, full magazines after full magazines.

 Important micro details:

 When the Matriarch is trying to throw you or tilt you,

 Avoid being thrown over the edge without any chance of catching yourself;

 Snap Hooks can help you rehook if you fall and grab the ledge.

 Peak damage uptime

 The mouse was literally in my hand, and I was aiming right at the core.

 The other hand was sipping coffee.

 I didn't press the movement keys before she finally shook off.

 What you want to do is make it sound like an absurd joke.

 Keep shooting, don't touch anything stupid, don't let her shoot you.

 FAQ

 Q1 - Can you really make the Matriarch cheese without Deadlines, and if not, are you trolling your own runs?

 It's definitely possible. You can achieve 3-star Tests without Deadlines if you:

 Bring enough medium ammo.

 You can time your climb to coincide with the smoking phase.

 Focus on core injury with Torrent Mags.

 Is that the best way to travel? No. But when done properly, it can be very efficient.

 Q2: How dangerous is it to be on top of the matriarch

 A: Surprisingly safer than being on the Ground

 Matriarchs have a difficult time contacting you directly.

 The accuracy of other ARC units is also less reliable.

 When you are knocked down and land close to Bastions or hostile opponents, the danger is real.

 This is why you shouldn't ignore your HP just to make sure the boss doesn't strike you as much.

 Q3: How can I avoid the Matriarch if all my members ignore her?

 You must decide quickly if:

 You want to kill solo at high risk (higher danger, slower kill);

 Or you switch to another game plan.

 If you keep seeing the no-boss lounges, then try changing:

 Your spawning time;

 Your early aggression

 How you play as the boss in the first couple of minutes.

 Q4 - Do I really require 900-1100 rounds of medium ammo for my rifle?

 A: In strict terms, you could get by with less. But you'll still feel the limits.

 I've run multiple 600 runs in which I ran out ammo during the core phase.

 At 900-1100 points, I'm able to stay longer on the boss, re-engage and comfortably hit high scores in Trial.

 That's the answer.

 Q5 - Is the matchmaking based on aggression confirmed?

 A: I can't claim confirmation. What I'll say is this:

 The lobbies in my games felt more violent than usual when I was playing aggressively.

 When I deliberately played peaceful for a few minutes, I saw that more people in the lobbies were cooperating with their boss.

 It's important to explore the patterns in your brain, whether you are looking for system design or just a pattern-seeking mind.

 Summary: What's the real lesson in teasing the mother?

 This entire method comes down to just a handful of simple ideas.

 You don't have to use Deadlines if you want to farm Matriarch Trials that are 3-stars. All you need is a torrent, some ammo and good timing.

 Wait until the smoking phase has risen and the core is cooked before you break the top armor.

 Get greedy on how you use each magazine to earn Trial points, not how long you stay there.

 It is more likely that the Matriarch will be in danger from Bastions than other players.

 If you have a calm mindset and are a bit cynical as well, it will be easier to become the giga-chad of the Matriarch.

 It is about having the discipline to know how and when to fire your bullets into that glowing center.
