ADSing an enemy is a great way to get a shot off, but you've never had any success. It feels as if there is a force field preventing you from hitting your enemy.

  Let me walk you though the warzone bot lobby settings for the stickiest aiming possible. You can use these settings to improve your game, whether you are a seasoned veteran trying to pass a KD of 2.0 (like me right now) or you have trouble winning gunfights. This is not about simply copying numbers. It is about learning how to use the game engine in your favor.

 Step 1 Interface & visibility (The hidden Aim Buff).

 Most people will skip right to sensitivity. However, you can’t shoot if you aren't able to see.

 Color Customization - Make Enemies POP!

 Go to Interface->Readability->Color Customization.

 The setting: Set color filter to Filter 2,

 The Tape Trick.

 Crosshair settings will be located in the GameplayHUD.

 Crosshair Dot: On.

 The Strategy: In the past, before this setting was available, people literally placed a dot with clear tape on the center of the TV screen. Why? Because they knew exactly where their center was to center and quickly scope. Make this dot big and bright. Yellow/purple will stand out.

 The idea that max FOV is equal to pro player is incorrect. Your aim is hurt by this.

 Field of View

 Recommendation between 100 and 107.

 The Logic

 If it's low (Default 90), You have tunnelvision. You have to move it too much in order to track someone passing you.

 If the target is too far away (120), it will look like an ant. The bubble that shows the aim assistance also seems smaller.

 The sweet spot for the 107-degree angle is when you have peripheral vision and can see threats while still hitting targets that are large enough.

 ADS Field of View The Secret Sauce

 For Pro Aimers: Affected.

 For Sticky Aim Searchers: Independent.

 What is this?

 If you're having difficulty staying on target with the Independent setting, you can switch to it. When you turn on the ADS feature, the game zooms your camera closer to default.

 - The Results: The head of the enemy appears massively on screen.

 The Trade-off. You may lose some peripheral vision while aiming. However, the target size increases. It is easier to track because there's more screen space.

 Step 3 : Controller Mechanics

 Now let's get to the actual sticks. We will now eliminate any fighting between controllers.

 Vibration

 Action: Turn it Off.

 Why? Although it may feel immersive at first, vibration can cause your thumb to shake. In a video game where every millimeter counts, you do not want to have your controller interfere with your muscles. For two days it will feel strange. But then, you will never return.

 Deadzones

 This is the most significant part of your guide.

 Right Stick Min : Set to 5.

 The danger of 0 - If you set the value too low (like 1 or 0), even a tiny accidental twitch on your thumb or slight stick drift will register as an input.

 If Aim Assist fails to move right, and the game assumes that you have input a Left command, this will result in the rotational Aim Assist breaking.

 Fix: Setting the value to 5 will create a small safety cushion. This will prevent your controller from accidentally fighting Aim Assist.

 Right Stick: Max 100 (Or99). You have the full range.

 Left Stick: Minimum (0-3) in order to have a quick movement.

 Sensitivity

 Horizontal/Vertical : 6-6 bzw. 7-7 (Around 1.665 if using specific multiplication factors).

 You want to move fast enough that you can react quickly to someone who is shooting at you from behind, but also slow enough so as to keep your balance. It is not recommended to go beyond 1.75 (or around 8-8) until you have mastered the art of movement. It can ruin consistency.

 Step 4 – Aiming & Curves

 Target Aim Assist is On (obviously).

 Aim Response Curve:

 The Pick: Basic

 Standard in Black Ops 7 feels more tense than Linear. It gives you a classic COD-like feel, where the aim slowly slows over the targets.

 ADS Sensitivity multiplyer: 0.90 or 0.95.

 Why lower your base sensor? This allows for quick scanning (high base sens), but can slow down your aim a little when zooming in. The 0.05 difference between the two is what keeps the crosshair on your enemy's chest when you are in a melee.

 Q: What is the difference between Control Freeks and thumbstick extenders (Control Freeks)?

 The answer is no, they're not compulsory. But they do help. Your range of motion is increased when you increase the height of your left stick. You can adjust the sensitivity of your game, but still be able to make fine adjustments. If you've got $15 to spare, this is a great investment.

 Q: I changed from Independent FOV to a higher recoil. Why?

 A: The camera is closer and the visual recoil seems more intense. It isn't really higher. Take a few shots; the benefits of larger targets outweigh the visual repulsion.

 Q: Even though I'm at close-range, my aim still feels slippery.

 A: Check your Left Stick input. Rotational aim assist is activated best when moving. Aim Assist is ineffective if you are standing at a standstill like a gun turret. If you want to use the sticky aim, you should always be strafing.

 Summary

 Although they won't directly target you, settings can help remove barriers to you achieving higher KD.
